Pigment

GPX Series

The GPX series is a matt pigment foil on 12 micron carrier
designed for date coding.

Characteristics

GPX is designed to withstand all the complexities of foiling today exhibiting excellent resistance to condensation, boiling and scratching. From our extensive trials we know that the foil will perform well on all modern packaging films both in the food and pharmaceutical markets and gives great detail and coverage on label stocks. Our studies suggest that this is the best all-round pigment foil we have produced to date.
The foil has been designed to ensure that there no dust left around the print head. It has been produced from materials that meet all current toxicity legislation across Europe.

Toxicity

Complies with EN-71, part 3; European Limits Packaging Legislation and Coneg 1994 Final Limits; and the requirements outlined in European Directive 2002/95/EC or RoHS.

Applications

Date coding on packaging films such as OPP, PE, PET both clear, printed and metallized, nylon, cellulose and cellophane. Coated/Uncoated and synthetic papers, actual and synthetic leathers. It also performs well on many rigid plastics.

SCF Series

Characteristics
An extremely versatile date-coding and pricing foil demonstrating quite exceptional adhesive properties, especially on many of today’s less print receptive substrates.
This high speed, non-toxic series produces well defined codes and offers one of the highest levels of durability and rub resistance available throughout difficult chill or deep freezing conditions.
Application
Virtually all packaging films, including laminates
Coated and uncoated papers and boards

UFS Series

Characteristics
Primarily developed as a high speed foil, UFS is almost universal
in its application. The low working temperature, combined with the
free release, enable dwell times to be reduced to a minimum
without affecting the foils excellent print quality. It is the ideal
choice when one foil only is required for both packaging films and
labels.
Application
An almost endless list of materials can be printed ranging from
coated/uncoated papers and boards to a wide range of packaging
films.

WBS Series

Characteristics
Designed give excellent coverage yet at the same time to offer fine detail reversal. WBS exhibits excellent resistance to rubbing.
The foil performs very well on complex forms such as found in the production of bottle closures.
The product also has been designed so that it will accept metallic foils to be overprinted on the surface.
